Recently returning to Budapest, I made sure booking some intro dives at the famous Molnár János Cave. I already dived there 2 years ago. The cave is formed by thermal water springs in the hills of Buda and actually quite near the city center, you can walk to the parliament building easily along the Danube.

In busy Budapest you don’t image there is this the tranquility of the submersed cave just around the corner.

The cave is filled with very clear and warm water, above 10m 27 degrees Celsius, below 10 meters still 20! And visibility is great. In the cave you’ll enjoy beautifully eroded rock structures, canyons, large and small passages.

Diving in the cave is operated by a very professional, patient and friendly team. Please find their official website here https://mjcave.hu/en/
